"The human cost of the US-imposed Russian shock therapy brought by George Soros, Jeffrey Sachs, Larry Summers, and a stable of CIA-linked financial and legal operators, was beyond belief. Between 1991 and 1997, the Russian GDP - the value of all goods and services that Russia produces-collapsed by 83 percent. Farm production had declined by a staggering 63 percent as state support for large farms ended. Investment into the economy decreased by 92 percent. More than 70,000 factories were closed down. That led to Russia's producing 88 percent fewer tractors, 76 percent fewer washing machines, 77 percent less cotton fabric, 78 percent fewer TVs, and on and on. In a country that had been without unemployment under the Soviet era, thirteen million people lost their jobs under Yeltsin's "free market" Russia. Those who still had work had their wages cut in half. The average life span for men had been shortened by six years, down to the same level as in India, Egypt, or Bolivia. Alcoholism became epidemic as depression spread among the population. It was a shock therapy indeed, the kind of shock a country experiences only in a major war."

The fact that Paul Kagame - as King Leopold II of Belgium once did (1865-1909) continues to live and work freely in the world, unthreatened by "international justice", celebrated as the Abe Lincoln of his war-torn domain in central Africa, and highly regarded and honored in the United States, Britain, and Canada, shows us unambiguously that when the events in Rwanda 1994 are at issue, things as fragile as truth and historical clarity are only able to survive as exiles from these powers."

"In October 1996 Rwanda's Paul Kagame, who was trained in intelligence at Fort Leavenworth in the United States, invaded the Congo with the help of the Clinton Administration and Uganda. By May 1997 the invading forces had removed Mobutu Sese Seko and installed the new more compliant dictator, Laurent Kabila.
Relations between Kabila and Kagame quickly soured, however, and Kabila expelled the Rwandans and Ugandans from the Congo in July 1998.
However, the Rwandans and Ugandans reinvaded in August establishing an occupation force in eastern Congo. Angola, Zimbabwe and Namibia sent their armies to support Kabila and Burundi joined the Rwandans and Ugandans. Thus began 'Africa's First World War' involving seven armies and lasting until 2003.

The Rwandan state did not collapse on its own and the vacuum of chaos and massacre did not occur all by itself. It also engendered a convenient disorder that facilitated a more brazen exploitation of Africa's natural resources than has ever before been foisted on the continent."
